2023. We made it!
I don't about you, but 2022 was one of those years that I'll always look back on as transformative. For me, it was about growth, independence, expansion and so many lessons.
2022 was the year that I learned to trust my intuition. I took leaps of faith and found confidence & strength that I didn't even realize I had. These lessons and experiences have inspired me going into 2023, and I've decided to make my word - and philosophy - for the year YES.
Saying YES to the chances and opportunities that present themselves. Saying YES to pursuing & doing things that excite me - even better if they scare me a little. Saying YES to change and trusting that all change leads to something positive - whether it's a new path, a new door that opens, or just a lesson that I can learn.
What I've learned is that you never know what you’ll find when you say YES - people and places that inspire & change you, a life that you love and sets your heart & soul on fire, the version of yourself that you were always meant to be. So I'm going to do more of these things, and do them more intentionally, because I may not know where they will lead me, but I deeply trust that it’s worth it to find out.
Some other goals I have for the year:
Visit 1 new continent
Visit 3 new countries
Stick to a more consistent morning routine - meditate, stretch, enjoy some 'me' time before starting the day
Walk more / move daily
Learn a new skill
Read before bed 3x/week
Call people to check-in & connect (instead of just texting)
Journal!
Honestly, I'll probably add more throughout the year. I'd love to find 1 resolution to stick to every month, but I'm giving myself some grace to see where life takes me too.
This year ... this year ... it's going to be something special. I can just feel it.
So my hope for me - for us...is to say YES this year, because maybe, just maybe, we’ll find some magic.
